In SatisfactoRPG, you’ll select a
Pioneers
Pioneers build the foundries and factories that move raw materials up the value chain, culminating in Space Elevator parts and 7% annual revenue growth, forever, because the shareholders will not be denied.
Pioneer MicroProjects are facilities which convert a specified flow of input products—delivered by a Pastamancer Microproject—into a specified flow of output products, which are then handed back off to Pastamancer care for delivery to its next destination.

Or maybe this is you. Pastamancers build the conveyors, piplines, roads, railways, and drone networks that connect production facilities.
Only Pastamancers may build outside designated Build Plots. Like Pioneers
Caretaker Staff (NPC)
FICSIT Caretakers ensure that all facilities deliver shareholder value for years and decades to come. You’ll never see them; Caretakers don’t arrive until the Pioneers are departing.
Caretakers are the unskilled labor of the FICSIT talent pool. They are wholly unqualified to use a parachute or hover pack, let alone the Build Gun—they’d probably punch a hole through the Sun if you handed them one.
The FICSIT Building Code ensures that all expolanet facilities can be operated safely and efficiently by the long-term Caretaker staff.
The Foreman
Your Game Master, or GM. The Foreman is the FICSIT management representative for this sector.
The Foreman will:
- Create and assign MicroProjects (your assignment requests will be honored whereever possible!)
- Survey and assign Build Plots
- Conduct Acceptance Inspections to ensure all new construction is code-compliant
- Issue FICSITix and administer redemption
- Conduct the Mug Ceremony
FICSIT Loss Prevention
FICSIT Loss Prevention staff are the soulless corporate ghouls who enforce FICSIT Building Code compliance.
Their spot inspections are infrequent, but unforgiving; any deficiency may result in immediate suspension of that MicroProject’s operation until the shortcoming is corrected—with potentially severe downstream production impacts!
MicroProject owners with uncorrected deficiencies may be subject to FICSITix accounts suspension.

SatisfactoRPG strives to spin a web of interconnected systems, catalyzing rich player interaction by breaking large production chains into a series of clearly definited smaller builds, each constructed by a different Pioneer.
Key Concepts
- The Build Plot, a small zone defined by construction fences that a given facility must be built within.
- The Logistics Interface, a specifically designed handoff point where components enter or exit a Build Plot.

MicroProject Examples
Pastamancer Task:
Aluminum Spaghetti
Connect Aluminum facilities to power grid. Weave plants together with belts and pipes as needed.
Contractor Task:
Alumina Plant
Within your designated build area, construct a refinery conplex to convert Bauxite and Water into Alumina Solution.
Contractor Task:
Aluminum Scrap Plant
Within your designated build area, construct a refinery conplex to convert Alumina Solution and Silica into Aluminum Scrap.
Contractor Task:
Aluminum Ingots
Within your designated build area, construct a factory to convert Aluminum Scrap into Aluminum Ingots.

Introducing HurtTix
FICSIT HR Total Rewards recognizes Pioneers for successful completion of assigned tasks by issuing HurtTix.
At the end of each Sprint, you’ll be issued HurtTix: one for each MicroProject you completed during the Sprint. Each HurtTix may be redeemed in for one unlock or collectible.
Cash in your HurtTix for:

- Awesome Shop Unlocks (but not item purchases)
